My neighbor and her 22 year old daughter and there guess has been a nuisance i spoke to her several times ?

About the situation and finally told her I would contact the landlord on this matter if it continues. However she smokes pcp when she high she feels really angry at me calls me names and a snitch never the less she continued to be a nuisance with her daughter and there guess so I finally contacted the landlord I felt things would get ugly soon so the verbal threats continue for a year so finally she harassed my family when they would come to my apartment so finally the landlord contacted her on the matter. After that she would send numerous letters stating her daughter and small child and herself was being harassed by my daughter and I wrote false accusations stating that I have someone living with me that is a false accusation she made on my daughter the landlord never contacted me on the matter of the false accusations she made she harassed my family so bad the police where called and nothing was done they talk to she and I. So my daughter came to my house to pick her son up she verbally harassed my daughter and kicked her my daughter hit her back she called the police and had my daughter arrested she was going to court for 1year and a � on this case they dismissed the case and do you think my daughter could bring civil charges against this person. Never the less she called my job and had me suspended from work with out pay. I think I have a defamation civil suit. Because the letters she wrote to the landlord my daughter have copies of that she presented to the D.A office when my daughter got arrested for the fight but the letters are 2years old do the statue of limitation starts ticking now.
